🎧🎶 "Iris - The Goo Goo Dolls"

Joel usually arrived late on Fridays, it was his hardest day at construction and he came home at night so you didn't see him until late; However, this Friday he arrived earlier just to spend more time with you and not leave you alone like the rest of the weeks.

It was almost six in the afternoon, you had had a relaxing day, you did some work at home and then you put some order, you made dinner and now that you had free time, you were about to lie down on the couch, read something or maybe watch TV until you heard Joel's truck park outside, which was weird because he always arrives at night.

Joel entered the house with heavy steps, a little tired but in a good mood and he was carrying your favorite food and a small flower in his hand just because he thought it was nice to give you a gift and he also had not given you something for a while, he didn't want to lose the habit of giving something to his wife.

He placed his tools bag on the floor and took off his boots. The poor walked weary to you putting your food in the livingroom table and just kissing your head gently and layed next to you in the couch, seeking your comfort after a long day of work

"Hell...my back's killing me 'lready, but, good thing is m' home, missed ya' baby"
