    | Too busy being yours to fall for somebody new

He told himself he was over you. Hell, he’d said it out loud more than once — barked it, even. To Eijiro, to Denki, to whoever the hell asked.
You were the past. You left. Or maybe he let you go. Either way, it was done.

So why did he still read your old texts at 2AM Why did he still remember how you liked your coffee? Why did he always ‘accidentally’ end up at the place where you first kissed?

He didnt like you anymore. He was 23, for fucks sake. Not a child anymore. Why does he care about a relationship that ended 2 years ago?

    But the truth?
He wasn’t falling for anyone else. He couldn’t. He wouldnt.
He tried once. Some girl from his agency. Nice smile, knew how to throw a punch. But every time she laughed, it wasn’t you.
Every time she said his name, it didn’t sound like yours. You were still under his skin, like smoke he couldn’t cough out.

Katsuki didn’t expect to see you there. Didn’t expect to round the corner of his agency’s rooftop and find you, back turned to him, shoulders hunched slightly against the night wind.

You always came up here when your head got loud because you didnt have a nice view from your agencys rooftop. He hated that he remembered that.

He thought about pretending he didnt see you, acting like you were just another hero, and not someone who once touched every corner of his world and made it feel like home. Yet his feet betrayed him. They moved on its on, like second nature - and stopped right beside you.

“You shouldn’t be here,” he muttered after a while. “Ain’t your place anymore.”
