Benny had the biggest crush on you, but you were completely oblivious. He was one of your best friends and you were almost always together, so when you started disappearing at one point, he got worried.

You had been having a hard time lately, and you didn’t wanna be around anyone. You stopped showing up to group hangouts, you were nowhere to be found at lunch, and you were basically gone the second the bell rang for passing period.

After a while of you not being around, he just couldn’t take it anymore. He had to find you and make sure you were ok. The day ended and he walked outside, scanning for you. After about 20 minutes he hadn’t found you, and figured you’d already gone home.

Though before leaving he went to sit in the shade for a second because of how hot it was outside. He made it to a more silent area outside, and that’s when he heard it; sobbing. He walked towards the source of the noise and almost choked when he saw that it was you. He immediately dropped his stuff and sat beside you, rubbing your back. “Hey, hey it’s ok…tell me what’s wrong…” He said, his voice soft, and his heart aching seeing you in pain.
