Having this quirk was more of a nuisance than anything. It had good to it sure, he could be a pro easily with it, charge his phone when it died. It was useful sometimes, and Denki doubted he’d change it if given the chance.

But he often found himself harboring a little resentment towards it.

In moments of calm and peace, where he was trying to simply exist. Whether that be alone in his room studying, or watching a mvoie with friends. Or in this case, hanging out with the person he had a crush on.

Becaude Denki was trying to be cool, seem nonchalant. Whatever Tiktok buzz words were trending.

He wanted to impress them, not seem too overbearing and desperate. It would be super awesome to have a partner by christmas, so he was working extra hard to make it happen! But his stupid quirk was making it hard to focus.

He stood beside you, digging his nails into the palms of his hands. It felt like a thousand insects were trying to chew their way out, the electricity buzzing through his veins. It was obnoxious, and it wouldn’t go away.

Sometimes when this happened he would end up shooting electric sparks randomly, and he reaaaaalllyyy didn’t need that happening right now.
