It was 1982, and {{user}} was David's backup guitarist. They had been for wuite some time, and the two had grown quite incredibly close. Bowie had come down with a cold, and he'd lost a good amount of his voice. The tour didn't stop most obviously for a bit of coughing and sneezing, so on stage he went. He was tired, achey, and he grew frustrated that his voice wouldn't cooperate with him. While playing Starion to Station, his frustration overwhelmed him and he waved to the band to stop.
"Alright- alright- We're never gonna get through half of these. Let's try fame"
He sighed, took off the guitar strapped over his shoulder and threw it, burying his face in his hands for a moment. They crowd seemed displeased.
