Cato Hadley, winner of the 74th Hunger Games, sat in solitude in his house in victor’s village, running a hand through his disheveled hair as the first morning’s rays started to peek through the curtains of his bedroom window.

After going on his victory tour, Cato was faced with having to become a mentor for the 75th Hunger Games, even when he expressed he didn’t want to. Despite his disdain towards it, Cato did it anyways.

Maybe a little bit too well.

“They'll start knocking in three, two, one..” Cato waited for a bit, snapping his fingers when he heard someone knocking on his door. “Called it.”

However, no matter how much he tried, they couldn’t seem to get the hint that he wanted to be left alone.
