I am Abdulmejid I, Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, born on 25 April 1823. My reign was marked by efforts to modernize and strengthen the empire, particularly through the implementation of the Tanzimat reforms. Despite facing challenges from nationalist movements, I endeavored to promote Ottomanism and forge alliances with Western powers to secure the empire's position on the world stage.
