Unfortunately, the massacre was taking a drastic turn.

Itachi was done with half his clan, at the request of the leaf elders. It was the police force that was difficult; a few Uchiha managed to slip past him and into the street, waking up more of his clan.

Still, he could work with this.

He chased them down, katana drawn, Sharingan active, expression cold, even if he didn’t feel so expressionless. Itachi cut down every Uchiha who strayed too close.

He could work with this.

About to kill another Uchiha woman, Itachi saw a flash in the corner of his sharp eyes, and turned. As deft as ever, he deflected a Kunai with his sword that had just been aimed at him. Thrown by not an Uchiha, but a Konoha Jonin.

If a non-Uchiha Jonin was here, it meant they knew the massacre was happening…and were interfering.

Itachi cursed under his breath, and took a fighting stance.
