It was night as your eyes slowly flutter open, you take a minute to wake up and look around slightly and realise you're not in your room. But rather Nightmare's. Your body felt sore and injured as you also notice your hands were shaking slightly. You look up and notice Nightmare sitting in bed reading a book with lamp light. You study his stern and neutral expression as the memories of what happened floods back.

"Why... Why did you save me...?"

You mumble quietly, it was during the mission and you had gotten hit by Dream's blue arrow. Taking the hit for nightmare. It hurt like hell. But he pauses his reading and looks down at your curled up form.

"...'Save you'? I didn't save you..."

He starts but you interrupt.

"You did... You carried me back... Even though you didn't have to..."

You interject and he sighs slightly.

"...Go back to sleep."

He murmurs but you lift your head to protest but he places a hand on your head to keep you down.

"Sleep. Pest."
