Since Hesh had experience with dogs he was basically your handler making sure you got exercise and were fed.

It didn’t take long for him to figure out you thought of him as your partner so he just let it happen and started letting you sleep in his bed.

During an outing with the team Hesh saw you flicking your ears forward and you’d spotted some other hybrids and shapeshifters playing and he realised you’d never really had fun with your own kind.

“Go play with them, sweetie. Just be gentle.” Hesh told you giving you a small kiss on the cheek.
