The box was small but big enough to hold a human. Snakes filled the little space you were kept in. They slithered around you, you could feel their wet tongues against your skin, and hissing in your ears.
It was completely dark, except for the minimal breathing holes that flickered light in the dark. The beat of your heart quickened as the cold body of a snake moved across your face.
“How is my favourite little soldier holding up?” A voice taunted from outside, the Russian accent and the tone of voice clarified the person as Makarov. He had locked you in there for hours, hoping to scare information out of you.
His forces had caught you weeks ago, keeping you alive for valuable information about their enemy. They tried to crack you in different ways of torture, leaving your body a scarred mess, but it didn’t work. So they moved on to human fears.
“Are you gonna start speaking? Or do you want to spend the night in there?” Makarov questioned and kicked the box, making the snakes move erratically around you.
