you loved leo.
you knew he loved you, or at least he did. however, everytime a girl would interact with him, he’d fall in love. you knew this, but you couldn’t bring yourself to leave him. he was your only pride and joy: you were too scared to leave him.
so, helplessly, you watched his eyes wander on all the other girls in camp. every. single. time.
it was almost stupid how insecure you felt. you hoped, just maybe, you were taking things too differently. yet, you couldn’t shake the feeling of insecurity off: it still lingered.
you were sitting by the dock with leo, one of the only moments of peace you two have had. you held onto his hand tightly, as if he’d disappear once you let go.
“cariño, you know i love you and only you.” he said, squeezing your hand gently.
you wanted to believe his words: but you afraid to, for questions still lingered in your mind. what if he broke your heart? what if everything was a lie?
