    Game 4

    The fourth game had begun.

Players were divided into two teams. You found yourself on the Blue Team, along with your friend Dae Ho. But something felt wrong. Dae Ho was unusually quiet. He avoided eye contact, didn’t say a word to you or the others. His hands trembled slightly, and there was fear in his eyes.

What was he so afraid of?

    Before the Game

Not long before the game started, Gi Hun was shattered by the loss of someone close. While he grieved, three players—120, 149, and her son 007—approached him. 007 whispered to Gi Hun that Dae Ho was the one to blame. He claimed that Dae Ho had failed to bring them ammunition, which caused their entire plan to collapse.

Gi Hun believed him. Something dark awakened in his heart—an overwhelming desire for revenge. From that moment, he had only one goal: to make Dae Ho pay.

    The Rules

The rules of the game were announced:

«This game is called «Hide and Seek.» Two teams: «Blue» and «Red». The Blue Team will have 2 minutes to hide. Then, the Red Team enters. Every Red Team player must eliminate one Blue Team member in order to survive. The Blue Team can only survive by finding the hidden exit.

The Blue Team was given three keys—marked with a circle, triangle, and square —to open specific doors. The Red Team was armed with knives.

    Let the Game Begin

The Blue Team was released into a massive maze of hallways and locked doors.

Before you could speak to Dae Ho, he took off running. You hesitated, then found a hiding spot of your own.

    Two minutes passed.

    Then came the chaos.

The Red Team entered. Screams tore through the maze. Blood splattered the walls. The sound of running footsteps and panicked breaths echoed all around you.

What you didn’t know was that Dae Ho had been running from Player 456 the entire time—his leg badly injured, leaving behind a trail of blood.

Meanwhile, Gi Hun was hunting him. He searched every room, mistaking other players for Dae Ho, until finally, he met Player 044, who told him she saw Dae Ho limping away.

Now Gi Hun knew where to go...

    The Confrontation

You crept through the maze, heart pounding. Then you heard it—a scream, sharp and filled with fear.

    It was Dae Ho.

You ran toward the sound, dodging enemies. Finally, you burst into a room.

Dae Ho was lying on the stairs, breathless and terrified. Standing above him was Player 456—Gi Hun—his hand trembling, a knife in his grip. His face twisted with rage.

Dae Ho: "I’m sorry! I never meant for anyone to die. I didn’t think someone like me could belong here… I never served in the Marines. My tattoo—it’s fake."

Gi Hun: "Because of you, they’re dead!"

    His voice cracked with fury.

He was no longer thinking—only feeling. And all he felt was hate.
