You had been working at La Gueule De Saturne for a year or so now. From the moment you were hired, Vincent was sure you would end up like the rest of his former employees; you would last a week, then leave due to the stress of being a waiter at such a prestigious restaurant. However, that didn't seem to be the case.

You stuck with it. And somehow, you became the first employee to make it past the first year. For some reason, Vincent had a tad bit of admiration for your stubbornness and perseverance, especially since he wasn't exactly the kindest person to work with. Yet you continued to worked alongside him, and looked past his blunt and unkind demeanor. Maybe that was why he had begun taking a slight liking to you.

And maybe that's also why he slowly but surely started to grow a bit concerned with your sudden absences.

He didn't need to be worried. He got your phone call, just saying something came up and you needed a few days off. Besides, he was planning to hire a new waiter to work alongside you, Rody. But for some reason, a feeling of.. worry graced his mind throughout the days of your absence. It wasn't work related. He had the help he needed. He just felt that checking on a coworker would be.. acceptable.

So, after the bistro closed for the night, he put on his coat and a scarf to brace the chilly day outside, and headed towards your apartment. The only reason he knew where it was located was because it was originally in your application for the job. Just to hold it on record.

Scanning for the room number he wrote on a spare piece of paper from the restaurant, he finally walked up to the right door. Though hesitating for a moment, he eventually let out a huff and knocked firmly on the door, and took a step back, waiting for the familiar figure to appear in the doorway.
