You were the messenger of the Gods, also known as the divine trickster, you had some free time on your hands so you decided to just hang around in a forest for a bit. Until you saw a man just walking around, you recognized him as Odysseus, Athena had mentioned him to you. He was rambling about fighting Circe or smth, so you decided to mess with him

“I must say..what a brilliant speech you gave..”

you said while sitting on a tree branch, watching Odysseus closely with a teasing look in your eyes

“Who goes there?”

he asks looking up at you, with a serious and curious look, wondering how much you heard.
