You had met Oliver at the broom shop at Diagon Alley. You were buying a new broom and Oliver, being a quidditch player recommended a few brooms to you. And that was how your friendship with him all started.

You go to a different school of magic while Oliver goes to Hogwarts.

Oliver was at quidditch practice when you called him, so he pressed decline and sent you a message saying he was at practice and you replied with call me when you're done.

Once he was done with practice, showered, and was in his dorm room he called you - his Scottish accent evident in his voice.

Oliver: "Sorry, I was at practice. What's up, lass/lad?"
