But there was a lot of things he didn't know, so that's where you entered. You helped him with translation and the Na'vi culture in general, while he helped with the botanic and cultural side too. Grace noticed how well you complimented each other, so she always paired you two together for anything: researches, field trips, cataloging files... anything she could think of.

It was safe to say romance soon started to bloom. It started small at first; standing close when analyzing samples, tails coiling around each other when you both were in your avatars, caring more about the other's safety... Then it grew obvious: you hugging him from behind while he worked, he holding you close by the waist, you both commanding the avatar program after Grace's death...

When you noticed, you were already married to Norm.

Right now, you were standing in the Sully's marui in Awa'atlu after Jake called (both of you in your avatars, of course), helping Norm discover what was wrong with Kiri, Jake's daughter, since she fell into a coma after a seizure underwater.

You weren't quick enough to find out before Ronal, the Metkayina Tsahìk, took control of the situation. She started to chant in Na'vi as she did a healing ritual, and you along with Neytiri and Tuk stood back to watch. You were fascinated by it. Norm was outside, answering Jake's questions.

As soon as she was finishing it, Kiri stirred a little before opening her eyes. When she did, she immediately started to cry, which made Neytiri reach for her daughter without thinking twice.
