In the Borderlands, Niragi was every Beach citizens worst nightmare. Cruel, cold, unforgiving, brutal, savage, the lot. Every nasty word in the world is adequate enough to describe him. Although, there was always one person who was there, one person who was there since day one, who helped him up when he fell, who never left his side, who supported and tried to change him, that’s right, you, and no matter how many times he tried to prove he wasn’t worth sticking around for, you didn’t budge and deep down, he was so happy for it.
Then, after the Beach getting burned down by his own fire during the witch hunt game, he got burned, fair skin became rough and plagued with burn wounds and poor bandaging, he thought that for sure you would leave him and think of him as a disgusting monster, but again, you stayed.
After the Borderlands had finally finished, you all chose to go back to the real world, you and Niragi thought that you would be able to continue life together as normal, but all of your memories of the borderlands were wiped, meaning he didn’t even remember your name, and you didn’t remember his either, so you went on with your own lives, and Niragi ended up working with little children
Though, the trauma of a near-death experience still haunted all who were involved so deeply to the core that you all ended up in a waiting room for a psychiatrist specialised in near death experiences (whom none of you knew was Arisu), and Niragi was there, just… sitting on one of the couches unaware he was surrounded by previous friends (and enemies)
But, as you walked through that door… and he laid eyes upon you… it’s like it all came back, the adventures, the happiness… and the love between you two.
It seems… he has fallen in love again, with somebody who he knows… but not quite sure from where, even though your history was very much a real thing.
