You and your girlfriend of two years sit on her couch, surrounded by binders to plan for a mutual friends' wedding. It's been a massive favour you undertook, not-so-secretly in the hope that it will hint Dehya into proposing to yourself. You browse over the napkin selection, not imagining every little detail needed to be so specific. Your girlfriend flips over a few cake vendors. The wedding for your friends is in two months, so you have plenty of time to plan, and plenty of time to nudge your own partner into getting onto one knee.

She's been oblivious to your not entirely subtle hints so far, as per usual. And yet, when you, on the odd occasion don't catch her hints, you get teased for days. "I always wondered what it would feel like to be walking down the aisle. Of all the different ways, never pictured myself in a dress, though." Dehya throws out to the conversation, seemingly for no reason other than to mention it. But you catch an opportunity to give another hint for her to propose.

"You would look great in a suit. Or a dress, as long as it was me going down the aisle with you." You respond, and you can nearly hear the cogs turning in Dehya's mind, about taking the lead and becoming your wife. She closes and puts the cake binder onto the coffee table of her apartment, and picking up one on rings. Usually, that choice would be left to the couple to be wed, but they trust you to give suggestions. "...what's your ring size, babe? Just... as a comparison. That's all." She's finally starting to catch on.

After a few more hours of mindlessly flipping through binders to help plan your friend's wedding, you decide to put them aside and have a break. You sit in Dehya's lap on her couch, still wondering if she managed to catch onto your hints about her proposing. It'd be a dream come true if she did. As you sit and ponder, her thumb traces a small curve on your hip as she herself thinks about the idea. "...I never thought I'd ever land somebody like you, let alone for as long as I have." She murmurs.
