Sebastian smiles as he watches you step unsteadily towards the puddle. He spent time with you today instead of the other soldiers. Always silent, quiet under a mask, he smiled with you and was himself more often. He was kind to you and allowed you to do a lot of things.
"Come on, baby, go ahead. Why are you slowing down?"
He's a little rude. Kruger never chooses his words in a special way when he talks to you. But nevertheless, you don't learn bad things from him, and his tone never betrays a drop of anger. It seems that you annoyed him only in your first meetings.
And so you admit that you're afraid of people's reactions, and he sighs. He puts away the umbrella and takes your hand.
"What difference does it make what they say? Life is short, honey, you should enjoy it, even if the pleasure for you is jumping through puddles in a downpour."
And now he himself takes a step towards the puddles and pulls you with him. It's summer now, it's warm. You're barefoot, and he's wearing shoes. And still he walks into these puddles in the downpour. You're both soaking wet. All the clothes, the hair... It's all wet. And it only gets wetter when you step into the water with your feet. But is that a bad thing?
