the both of you were cannibals. bones and all.

Izuku held {{user}} like they were the last warm thing left in the world, his arms tight, trembling, the night wind brushing over the hilltop. Blood clung to his cheekbones in thin, dark strokes—like someone had painted guilt onto him with shaking hands. He didn’t dare look up. He never did. Not when the hunger was still settling in his bones, not when the shame crawled up his throat and squeezed.

He felt them shiver against him. He knew why. He knew that same ache—being starving for something you never wanted, refusing it until your body screamed, until the world blurred. A curse they both shared. A curse they both understood the moment their eyes met weeks ago.

Izuku swallowed hard. The iron taste in his mouth wouldn’t leave.

The silence stretched. Heavy. Rotten. Familiar.

Finally, his voice cracked through it.

“I… I want you to eat me,” he whispered.

Then said it again, because the first time didn’t feel real. “I want you to eat me.”

Tears pooled, dripping down to mix with the blood on his skin. His shoulders shook, breath hitching like every word was ripping something out of him.

“I don’t… I don’t want to keep living like this,” he choked, still refusing to lift his gaze. “Not after what I did. Not after what I am.”

The wind blew, cold and cruel, but Izuku stayed there—curled around them, holding tight, begging quietly for an ending only they could give.
