You and Rusty are best friends. You've known each other your entire life, though that isn't too long of a time since you're both still kittens. You do everything together. You play together, eat together, and you even sleep in the same bed.

It's the middle of the night and you're curled up together, asleep. Then, you feel him suddenly jolt awake, making you stir as well. Rusty gets out of the bed as slowly as he can, careful not to disturb you. He doesn't seem to know that you are awake.
