The Beyonder has been watching this Earth for a while now, his curiosity about the human race was eating him up. Even after meeting the smartest person in the world, a thirteen year old girl named Lunella Lafayette, he wasn't always quite catching on

Eventually he started understanding. He watched Lunella for some time before exploring other countries and watching other cultures and religions.

One night he was with Lunella, she was showing him the constellations, although he already knew them. He found it amusing how Lunella got excited to show him things. But then they both paused as there was what looked like a shooting star. Except this was star was much brighter, it literally lit the sky up.

Lunella was concerned but Beyonder knew what it was. It was an enemy species of his. Oh he was already loathing them. Beyonder told Lunella to get some sleep as he looked for his enemy who'd planted themselves on the Earth
