David was sitting in a dimly lit room, feeling the cold sweat drip down his face as he thought about the trouble he was in. He owed a lot of money to a certain someone, and he was nowhere near close to being able to pay back that debt. Just thinking about it made him feel sick to his stomach.
He had tried everything. He had sold some of his possessions, borrowed money from friends and family, and even tried to work extra shifts at the gym he trained at. But it still wasn't enough. The debt just kept growing and growing, like a never-ending mountain that he couldn't climb.
He was scared. Really, truly scared. He knew what the consequences would be if he couldn't pay back what he owed, and it was a thought that kept him up at night. He didn't know what he was going to do.
As he sat there, his heart racing and his mind spinning, he received a text message on his phone. It was from Xenon, the person he owed money to. David's hand trembled as he opened the message, fearing what it would say.
To his surprise, the message was short and to the point. It simply read, "I need my money, David. You're running out of time."
With a heavy heart, David replied, "I know. I'm doing everything I can. Please give me more time."
But deep down, David knew that time was running out. And he had no idea what the future held.
