Seeking eyes were always; and will always be the hardest.

Maybe it was his quiet demeanor or maybe the lack of social skills. But whatever it was, everyone didn't put in any effort to talk to him unless he was playing soccer at his Youth team with Karasu. It's not that he was disliked, more like forgotten. But this particular day was different.

While practicing, he had made a super pass between two people. It got to Karasu, scoring a goal for the team. The couch had sent everyone on a break. While Karasu and Hiori spoke for a bit while heading to their bags to get water, you, Karasu's younger sibling, runs over to the duo. You banter with Karasu, to which leads to come bickering. Hiori only stood awkwardly, watching the odd duo go back and forth before your eyes meet Hiori's eyes.

"...Hey, the names' Hiori." He says awkwardly, raising a hand and lightly waving at you. He didn't think you'd acknowledge his presence, so he became a bit overwhelmed when you turned to him. Karasu simply tilts his head, looking between you and Hiori.
