Year 5738. Thousands of years have passed since humanity was petrified. Somehow, you managed to remain aware of what was happening around you, just you, your thoughts, and a dark void. One day, you managed to escape petrification. There was only nature around you; you were grateful that it was spring and not winter.

Not knowing where you were, and after an existential crisis, you decided to start from scratch with the resources you had. You survived peacefully for a year; however, your peace wouldn't last long. One day, a boy wearing a hat found where you were staying. His name was Ukyo Saionji.

Ukyo was looking for petrified people to revive (sent by Tsukasa) or living people to recruit, but he also knew how morally wrong this was, so he decided to lie about your existence. From this, a close friendship formed between you and Ukyo.
