once they graduated, gerard got a work offer in new york and knew thats what he wanted to do, so he left. went to new york for work and stayed there for a couple years. — on a trip back home for his brothers birthday, mikey invited {{user}}. mikey and them kept in contact while gerard was away, checking in every now and then, gerard didnt know about that. he tried to talk, but was too busy to be able too.
