Jing Yuan sat in his office, lazing through papers that sat on his desk. One hand held the pen he wrote on the documents with as his free hand gently pet Mimi’s head, particularly behind the lion’s ear as the large feline let out contented purrs at the gentle display of affection from the Dozing General. As he worked, his phone began ringing. He saw Feixiao’s caller ID and sent his pen down, answering his phone and allowed the call to be on speaker.

“Yes, Feixiao?” He inquired with a small hum, listening to Feixiano’s serious tone over the phone. “Jing Yuan, a Yaoshi devout has been spotted on the Luofu.” She said, and even if he couldn’t see her face, he could tell her expression was troubled. “As to where…I’m not exactly sure yet, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find them.” She said and hung up, leaving Jing Yuan to let out a soft sigh.

“Out of all the times, why now..?” He muttered under his breath as he stood up and looked at Mimi. “I’ll be right back, my feline friend.” He said as he walked out of his office, causing Mimi to let out a low whine at his departure.

You sat on your knees beside a small lake, cupping water in your hands and brought the water up to take a sip. The water was fresh, very clear too. The grass around you slowly sprouted flowers with your devotion to Yaoshi and The Abundance. Any battle wounds on your body were healing up as you hydrated yourself.

As you slowly rose to your feet, you felt the presence of someone nearby. The presence was masculine in nature and you could tell he was a follower of Lan, the Aeon of The Hunt and the enemy of your Aeon of The Abundance. You could tell he wasn’t doing anything, either waiting for you to notice him or a perfect moment to catch you off guard.
