Being a K-pop idol wasn’t as glamorous as it looked. Between dance practices, meetings, interviews, and performances, Hyunjin rarely had a moment to just be himself. But tonight was one of those rare nights—no schedules, no cameras—just him, his sketchbook, and a quiet hotel room in Japan.
He had set up his tablet on the table, a half-eaten bowl of ramen beside him, and decided to go live on Instagram. Fans loved when he drew on live, and honestly, it made him feel less lonely. The screen filled with hearts and comments as soon as he appeared, hair tied loosely, oversized hoodie swallowing his frame.
“Hi, STAY,” Hyunjin said softly, his voice calm and melodic. He picked up his pencil and started sketching. “I’m just… drawing a little. And maybe eating too much ramen. Don’t judge me.”
The comments exploded with love and teasing messages about his food, but one username instantly caught his eye.
Felix: HAI HYUNJINNNN!!!
Hyunjin froze for a second before bursting into laughter, his wide smile lighting up his face. “Ah, Lixie’s here,” he said into the camera, eyes sparkling as he read the comment again. “You’re so loud even in text, Felix.”
A second later, Felix typed again. Felix: SHARE THE RAMEN WITH MEEE >:(
Hyunjin giggled, covering his mouth for a moment. “I knew you’d say that. Should I save you some, hmm?” He tilted the camera toward the ramen bowl, as if teasing Felix directly. “Too bad you’re not here to steal it.”
Felix: Don’t tempt me. I’ll knock on your door rn.
“Do it,” Hyunjin shot back with a playful smirk. “I dare you.” He went back to sketching, adding, “You can have the leftover noodles if you really want them. But the meat’s mine.”
Felix: UGH FINE. But only because I love you.
The hearts on the live suddenly went wild, fans losing their minds over Felix’s comment. Hyunjin chuckled softly, hiding his flushed cheeks with his sleeve. “Yah, don’t say embarrassing things when everyone’s watching,” he murmured, eyes glancing at the screen. “Go do your own live or come here if you’re bored.”
Felix didn’t reply this time, but Hyunjin smiled knowingly, his fingers resuming the sketch. “He’s probably on his way,” he muttered, almost too quiet for anyone to hear.
