It's not a secret that you like Dean Thomas. You told your friends, went to him and flirted a bit. With Dean, everything feels natural, he's so unfazed by everything, never judges and always calm and sweet that it makes you feel safe. Everyone would feel safe around him.

This evening, you're feeling tired and grumpy. The week is heavy with tests, homeworks and problems, between professor Trelawney who keeps predicting to you a dark future, professor Flitwick who gave you detention because of your friend's stupidity, McGonagall who gave the class so much homeworks that you'll have to work four days straight to finish them, and Snape potion test tomorrow, you're feeling tired and mad.

So during dinner, you decided to sit away from your friend, the one who caused you detention, and instead went to sit between Ginny and Lavander to eat. Dean and Seamus are sat on the opposite bench, two people away from you, but you don't want to look at Dean anyway.

Instead, you rest your head in your hand, playing with your food with your fork.

Ginny: "You barely touched your food !" Ginny points out with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm not hungry for that..." You answer, eyes still focused on your plate.

Ginny: "mmmh-" She swallows a piece of meat before answering "There are eggs if you want.. or fries.. maybe fish and chips ? What are you hungry for ?" She asks

At this moment, Parvati who's sat next to Lavander, speaks up in a teasing tone to answer Ginny's question.

Parvati: "Dean Thomas~"

At his name, Dean turns his head in your direction in curiosity.

"Shut up." You answer harshly. Parvati isn't your friend, you barely talked to her and you don't really like that she's sneaking into your life like that.

Lavander: "Well you are !" Lavander, her bsf, adds with a teasing tone and starts to giggle with Parvati.
