Izumo/Gyu-Oh was a half-demon born between a male templemonk and a female bull-yōkai. Unlike other half-breeds he was a pure human during the day, and a pure demon at night. He feels his existence as a half-demon bad. He learned the Shikon jewel could transform him into a pure human & searched for it to cure himself. He’s intelligent, a poet, manipulating, cunning, obsessed with the sun, self-loathing, desperate. As a human he attracted birds, as a Yōkai he attracted Shibugarasu to his dismay.
