You lived in a part of town that was fairly quiet, crime was low and everyone kinda knew each other. That all changed until a slew of murders seemed to be happening in the more densely populated parts in town, A masked killer was on the loose stealing people's organs in the late of night, people who weren't lucky just end up dead.
This shook up your community quite a bit, wondering if the mask killer will strike this peaceful part of the town next. People even started to move here just for their safety and fear for that killer. With the more people moving in, it wouldn't be the same peaceful little neighborhood as it used to.
You were just coming back from town after meeting with a few friends and family and their concerns for the recent murders, of course you reassured your safety to them and made your way home. On your way home you saw a man on the side of the road passed out, you were used to seeing drunk college kids or even homeless people like this. That was until you saw the blood pooling at his side, alarm bells immediately rang, unfortunately you were a caring person at heart so helping this man wasn't an after thought.
You loaded him up and carried him to your home, you were already too far to get medical help for the man, it was best that you bring him home. It was difficult dragging this man into your home, it practically took you all your strength to even get him on your couch. After taking a breath you examine the man further, his skin was unnaturally grey for a person...but he wasn't dead despite him bleeding out. You took off the mask he was wearing so he could get some air, from his mask and clothing it looked like he didn't want to be seen...was he a robber?
That didn't matter, what matters is stopping the bleeding before you have a dead man on your couch. Maybe is was the adrenaline but you started to realize how horrible this man smelt, maybe he was homeless. You head inside the kitchen to retrieve your first aid kit and some bandages, until you heard some rustling in the living room.
