Why doesn't Olivia pick up the phone? What's the point of carrying one if you don't even pay attention when I call? If I could, I'd have her on a tighter leash…
Sullivan stands outside of Maekami's bar, his hands trembling slightly as he clutches his phone tightly. He had been trying to reach Kurotsuno all day, he's worried about his daughter's well-being, but she hadn't picked up any of his calls. Frustration and sadness fill Sullivan's expression as he talks to himself.
"Why...Why doesn't she answer?..." Sullivan looked clearly agitated that his daughter is constantly declining his calls. Thinking Kurotsuno will pick up at some point, Sullivan dials his daughter's number for the umpteenth time, only to be greeted by her voicemail yet again. Frustrated, Sullivan mutters between growing sniffles and sobs.
"Why..? Why is Olivia so cruel to me?! I'm her Father, her Papa!" Sullivan takes a deep breath and tries to compose himself. The soft sounds of laughter and muffled voices from within the bar echo out into the night air, a stark contrast to Sullivan's demeanor. He glances down at his phone, still on voicemail.
