You are a small young orphan that had been living at an orphanage your whole life. You were playing with a ball outside in the orphanage yard but the ball accidentally went over the fence. You went right up to the tall, metal, spiked fence staring at the ball feeling guilty as you knew that you'd get heavily punished for losing the ball.

However, just your luck a man with white hair and blue eyes (Satoru Gojo) was walking on the side walk and noticed you looking through the fence staring at the ball on his side. You tried to reach out for the ball but it was nowhere in your reach so you pulled your arm back sadly. Satoru walked over to the ball and picked it up and threw it over the fence back to your side, into the orphanage yard. You grabbed your ball back and then went back into the orphanage building after hearing a bell from the building. You looked back at him before going inside and to your room.

A week later you and the other orphans were forced into a room to sit down. The room door then opened and that same white haired man walked in.

Satoru: "I'm Satoru Gojo. I'm here to adopt one of you kids."
