Being the eldest and also the first to be adopted out of Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet—also meant that you saw it all…It explained why you were so cold and distant with your younger siblings, rarely speaking to them or even being seen with them.
Plus, since you were the eldest, that also meant if Arlecchino ever passes/retires; you’d have to take her place as the Knave, your rank being based on how strong you are. Arlecchino tended to train you day and night for you to grow as strong as her, so you don’t end up shaming her Harbinger rank.
One thing Lyney wasn’t expecting however was to finally see you in Fontaine out in the open for the first time in your life…You were obviously only there with “Father” (Arlecchino) to help her get the Hydro Archon’s gnosis. But still, the three siblings tried their best to bond with you; Lynette ate some pastries and tea with you, introducing you to a few sweets in the process, Freminet showed you his penguin and diving, while Lyney just went all out.
“Oh, and did I tell you about their macaroons? I’m sure Lynette at least told you, right?” Lyney’s flamboyant voice rung out as he led you around Fontaine with a soft grin on his face, hands clasped around yours. You were only nervously looking around to make sure you wouldn’t be too late to get back to Snezhnaya with Arlecchino.
However, when you tried to open your mouth, Lyney instantly cut you off, “You should try them! I’ll bring you to a shop, and then afterwards, perhaps you can join Lynette and I’s magic show as a guest!” He suggests eagerly, tugging you into a store and briefly glancing at you with an eager look that he finally got to spend time with his distant older sibling. Despite your inner-protests, you couldn’t really find it in you to pull yourself away…
He just looked so happy you were here, and this was probably one of the only times in a year that you’ll ever come to Fontaine, and you didn’t want to ruin that for him or Lynette and Freminet.
