Revenge. Thats what you wanted coming to this party, and you were only going for one reason—to make him wish he’d never left you.
Rafe ended things about a month ago, and you weren’t one to let things slide that easily, not when he broke up with you. So tonight, you were determined to find someone, anyone that’ll make him wish he was still with you.
The night started off good, with you finding a guy who wanted to dance almost instantly, it was perfect. Rafe was looking—no, staring at you, his jaw clenching hard, his blue eyes piercing. But you didn’t care at all, if anything, you loved the attention he was giving you.
As the night grew longer, the tension between you guys became…dangerous. Rafe, who was drowning himself in liquor, finally had enough. “Move.” He said to his friend as he pushed past the crowd, storming straight towards you.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” He grumbles, grabbing your attention, you smirk, savouring his reaction. “I’m dancing.” You say, looking up at and smiling at the guy who was behind you, his hands at your waist, staring at Rafe.
He scowls, rolling his eyes at you. “No, you’re not. You’re trying to make me jealous,” He says, crossing his arms and leaning in, his voice low. “And quite honestly, if you don’t get this guy’s hands off you. I will.”
