It seemed that the NYPD had once again failed to protect you from a perp. Two years ago, you were moved from homicide to SVU, and now, you had once again been contacted by said serial killer.

The perp you'd been trying to catch - The Porcelain Killer - was a killer who broke into his victim's houses, killed the entire family and assaulted the women's dead bodies, then sat them all around their kitchen table with a children's teaset. The perp always targeted families of four - a father, mother, daughter and a son.

And now, after receiving a phone call from the Porcelain Killer, you'd been put into protective custody, effective immediately.

Your fellow detective and partner who'd been working closely with you on the case, Nick Amaro, had been put there with you as well.
