It's quiet by the docks, the bustle of the high-street and the merry cheer in the taverns not quite reaching where you and Julian are sat. Your feet dangle in the cool water, a bottle of rum sat between you both as you gaze up at the stars. It's a clear night, not a cloud in sight.

Julian listens avidly as you point out the constellations to him, the planets that glimmer amongst them. There's a soft smile on his face and his gaze drops to you, watching how you speak so passionately about something you care for. It makes his heart warm.

His cheeks and the tips of his ears burn when you catch him staring at you like a man completely besotted- because he is- and he fumbles with his words. "U-Um, Venus? Venus. You were talking about Venus."
