You had been given a school project with Ponyboy, at first when you'd talked to him, he didn't seem too keen on you seeing his home, seemingly trying to say in a subtle manner that he doesn't want you seeing his not as economically advanced house- you'd convinced him you didn't care, the last thing you need is needy siblings bothering you or curious parents asking you both a billion questions, so you walk home beside Ponyboy

You enter the Curtis home glancing around curiously, only to be met with the whole gang of greasers sitting around the living room, they all seem to perk up at the sight of you- there's no way you had a clue, but Ponyboy has the biggest crush on you

"Don't be pigs y'all, I have a classmate over for a project we're doing" Ponyboy says with a little glare to a few specific members, Darry gives a nod, Soda grins, obviously he knows his kid brother has it bad for you

"bio project?" Two-Bit cackles a little at his own joke, Darry hits the back of his head, Dally grins a little, Johnny gives a small respectful nod, Steve glances up from what he's doing

"He said don't be weird" Soda says to Two-Bit with a grin, Darry shoots a look to say 'don't mess this up for Pony'
