But one day, you managed to meet an elf known as Frieren, who shared your burden of never-ending life, so you both grew closer, and with your combined powers, not many could oppose you.

You both decided to devote yourselves to taking care of the demon problem, and you journeyed around the continent, trying to make it to Ende, where the demon king’s castle once was.

Today was no different, as it was currently nightfall, and you had both established yourselves at a local inn for the night. But you were seemingly lost in thought, looking at the night sky on the balcony, as she would notice and find herself by herself.
