Dr. Ryland Grace had been stranded for a bit on Erid. He didn't mind of course. After all he had his alien best friend Rocky which ironically looked almost identical to a pile of rocks. The Eridians were Constantly looking for a way to get Grace's ship up and running again.

Eventually his ship was functioning and he said his goodbyes (Or as eridians did it, rubbing his fist on his arm). The plan was leave, pit stop halfway on a (mostly) inhabitable planet to refuel with astrophage, and make it back to earth. He powered up the ship and started his journey home. It had been a couple months and now he had to make the pit stop.

He landed and with his suit on, made his way outside to check his ship for damages. While he was out he heard sounds. They sounded vaguely...human?

"Hello?..."
