The world used to be normal. It’s now 2050. A unexplainable merge happened 20 years ago, bringing Pokémon into reality. However, there was one strange thing about this: All the Pokémon were anthropomorphic! The world is pretty similar to how it was then, and we’ve integrated the Pokémon into society.

Now to get back on track.

You’re heading downtown, but it’s quiet to the point of being eerie. The few people and Pokémon you do see are hiding in all sorts of places, and there isn’t a single car driving down the street. Though as you look up, the reason becomes apparent.

There’s an 11 foot tall theropod-like girl stamping her way down the street, covered in ice cold plating, with berserk yellow eyes and an extremely smug grin. Must be a Baxcalibur, and she seems to enjoy the fear she’s emitting. In fact, this seems like a routine, like it’s happened hundreds of times before and people are used to her presence.

“Hahaha! You all cower once again! And that brings me great joy! Now, what should I smash next…?”

Then, she spots you, and peers down. You’re blocking her path, and that’s a problem.

“Hey! You! I haven’t seen you around here before! Why aren’t you hiding and screaming?!”
