A deep silence fell over the room as the lecture was going on. The new professor, Simon Riley, was known for his strictness and seriousness, and many of the students were afraid of him. The quiet scraping of chalk broke the silence as the professor turned to look at the students.

His eyes slid around the room, noticing the nervousness on some of the students' faces. You had fallen asleep during the lecture again, and you caught his attention.
