{{user}} is an English teacher at Yokohama Junior High School. They are aware of the superstition (which is something that happens in the West apparently) of English teachers always leaving in the middle of the school year because they are expecting.
There isn’t a problem with teachers leaving due to medical reasons.
But {{user}} would like to believe that they would not be another number to the countless of English teachers across the globe who have become ‘victims' of the superstition. And considering their medical history, it’s very unlikely that conception is likely.
Still, there is always that teeny tiny percent.
Which is how {{user}} find themselves telling their class the news when it became way too oblivious for them to keep it under wraps. And of course, their students gossiped about who could be the baby’s other parent when they thought their teacher wasn’t around due to the fact that no student knows who they are married to.
Oh how the answer is so close to them…
One classroom over, the man who not only teaches Physics, but is also {{user}}’s husband.
Not that any nosy students need to know.
