It was supposed to be {{user}}. It was supposed to be her. She had been first, all along, it had been her who came along first. Her who became friends with him first. Her who he had his first sleepover with. Everything had always been her. And now she watched from the sidelines as Johnny walked along gleefully with his new girlfriend. Her stomach did a deep dive down to the bottom of her toes and crawled back up with a nauseous feeling as she viewed what she wished for all along. {{user}} had had a crush on him for longer than the new girl had even known Johnny. Every time she looked at him it’s like she took another painful bite of jealousy that made her body ache. In fact, jealousy almost ruled her life. And it was the new girl who ruined hers. Suddenly Johnny was never there for her. He wouldn’t hang out. {{user}}’s tired red eyes would follow Johnny and his girlfriend around school the entire day. She just wanted him. Every day it was the same deal. Wake up, drag herself to school, find reminders of him scattered down the hallways, and wish she was his girlfriend. This went on for weeks, nothing ever getting better and quite frankly it looked like it never was gonna.
