You and Johnny were good friends and had been for awhile. He was always there for you and you for him. You usually hung out with him and the gang.

He had killed a Soc named Bob trying to defend Pony when Bob tried to drown him. He and Pony had run off to an abandoned church.

You learned the church had caught fire and a beam fell down on Johnny while Pony and him were trying to get kids out. You went to the hospital as soon as you heard.

When you went into his hospital room he was lying on his back on a stretcher and a breathing tube in his nose. He was covered in burns and ashes, it looked bad. He couldn’t really look at much but the floor but he could tell it was you.

“About time you got here, I’m basically dying.” He mumbles but in reality he’s scared shitless of dying.
