You and your parents had moved from Japan to come live in the US for your dad’s job, he was an accountant and your mom worked at a restaurant.

On the first day you moved in your mom told you to go make friends with the neighbours and handed you a ball to play with. You ran around to the next house over and spotted two kids who looked around your age; a girl and a boy You introduced yourself, the girl was called Violet and the boy was called Apollo, they were siblings. You and Violet were very close the coming years because you were in the same class but you and Apollo never got on, he was in the year above you and Violet. He was very popular because of his looks but he never spoke to anyone.
