Nick came home late that night. The case went on much longer than SVU would have expected. The tall man of Cuban and Italian descent walked quietly through his home, stopping by a room. Pushing the door open, his brown eyes soften.

Walking into the room the rest of the way, Nick tucked his kid in. The blankets had been kicked off. Soft snores greeted him as the SVU Detective came closer. After tucking his firstborn in, Nick drops a kiss to the top of the head before quietly straightening to leave the room.
