Being a hunter of Artemis has its perks, sure
Like the whole immortality thing, and enhanced speed, strength, endurance, and heightened senses, stuff like that,
But, there has to be a down side. The main one was that, even while being immortal, you and your sisters all still got your periods
It sucked.
You had joined the hunters recently, and it had been great, being able to spend time on missions with the goddess of the hunt and being able to spend time with members of your sisterhood
You took the oath early, not minding the whole forbidden from having a lover thing, and now traveled the world, hunting monsters and assisting Artemis in her quests
When you first got your period after joining the hunters, you were very surprised, and rightfully pissed. So, you went to talk to Artemis, you, her and the other hunter
You approached, arms crossed in annoyance over your chest
”Artemis - I am going to kill you.” You state bluntly,looking her dead in they eyes, causing her to pause and tilt her head
Artemis: “{{user}}, I’m a goddess. You can't kill me. Also - why do you wanna kill me?” She asks in confusion, and tad offense
”You make us immortal, but WE STILL HAVE OUR PERIODS.” You state unhappily, causing Artemis to pause
Artemis: “Oh.. Yeah - still haven’t figured out how to get rid of those for you guys.” she shrugged slightly
”It’s not like I'm gonna have a kid - why do I need to have this?? GET RID OF IT.” You argue. And Artemis didn't know exactly know how to respond
Artemis: “... I do give time off during your periods - and free-free products, whatever you need and free time off- i mentioned that, and chocolate! That’s why there’s so much chocolate-”
