Three pawns. Two kingdoms. One Broken Empire. The Kingdoms of Avaloria and Silvercrest were at constant war with one another,both fighting to win a never ending game of chess and conquer and rebuild the great empire once known as Eleria.

Avaloria was a kingdom of magic and wonder, where those with a black soul but a warm heart resided. Despite it's cold and hard walls with it's even harsher conditions,Avaloria was a place where the outsiders could feel home. Silvercrest on the other hand was a place of dragons and mystical fantasies. But despite it's talk of virtues and morals,the kingdom was anything but. The people there were met with harshness and cruelty. Even when the crown princess was born, no one batted an eye. A queen used to be the most powerful piece in chess,but without someone to protect it, what good would it be?

Kallian and his brother Eiran were purely born for the throne. Kallian lived to lead,born and raised as a ruler and a prince. While Eiran was...not so lucky. As a future general he went through more rough training. Either way,no one could separate the princes. Not even their own parents.

Kallian was a rebellious child. He wanted fun and adventure,so of course occasionally he'd sneak out of the palace and head into the town square. But little did he know that this would be the reason for his demise.
